SIGNING UP
Do you offer a free trial session or class?
I don’t offer free sessions because my approach is highly customized and tailored specifically to your unique physique, needs, and goals. Every session is thoughtfully designed based on an initial assessment to ensure you get the most effective and personalized experience.
What types of workouts or fitness programs do you offer?
I offer individual sessions, such as movement restoration and strength and stamina preparation, as well as small-group classes (max 15 people) like Burst, High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), and Men’s and Women’s Strength & Conditioning. For more details about the benefits of each, view our programs & packages.
Is there an initiation fee?
There is no initiation fee. A comprehensive assessment is required for $50, but this amount will be credited toward any classes or individual sessions you purchase.
Is there a membership time commitment or is it month-to-month?
Our month-to-month plans are billed by credit card or ACH on the day of purchase each month.
Can I combine personal training with group classes?
Absolutely! Discounts on group classes are available when combined with personal training sessions. Please check out our programs & packages for details.
PREPARING FOR MY FIRST VISIT
Do you have free parking?
Parking is located on top of the garage. Keep turning left until you find the blue Toyota Tacoma. Park in any of the spaces next to me. I’ll walk you in the rest of the way. Get directions on Google Maps.
Are there locker rooms?
While we don’t have traditional locker rooms, Suite 308 is a fully-equipped gym offering 36-inch high cubbies. We also have benches for changing your shoes, a shoe rack, and hangers to make your visit more comfortable. Take a look at our facility.
Are there showers and restrooms?
There are four public restrooms on the 3rd-floor hallway for your convenience. Unfortunately, the building does not have shower facilities.
What should I wear or bring to my first session?
Feel free to wear whatever makes it comfortable and allows for freedom of movement, but please ensure you’re always appropriately covered! Bring along a pair of flat shoes! Flat shoes have a zero heel-toe drop, meaning the heel and toe are the same height. Pilates socks work great as well! If you’re unsure about your shoes, please send me a picture, and I’ll be happy to confirm for you.
You don’t need to walk in flat shoes. Just have them with you. Going from having orthotics to not wearing orthotics requires training, and you may increase your risk of injury if you switch to walking in flat shoes before you’re ready.
What equipment do I need to bring, if any?
You do not need to bring any equipment. I provide all necessary tools and equipment. Check out our facility page.
Can I / do I need to bring my own water?
There’s a small fridge with free water bottles available to you. You’re also welcome to bring your own water bottle, especially for Burst or HIIT classes.
What are your hours of operation?
Individual sessions are available Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4 pm, excluding some Federal Holidays. Updates are posted to the website at least three days in advance for any changes to hours of operation.
Group class times are set, but additional classes can be added based on demand. Certain Saturday booking options are also available.
Our class schedule is continuously updated with the current week’s offerings, including Strength & Conditioning, BURST, and HIIT.
Can I bring a guest if I have a membership?
Guests employed at the Riverview Center are welcome to use the cardio equipment with the purchase of a $5 day pass. However, space is limited, and to ensure unencumbered access for our members, we reserve the right to decline guest pass purchases as needed.
If you’d like to bring a guest to a group class, please email me at ben@fitworksite.com to check and confirm availability.

YOUR PATH TO SUCCESS
What qualifications or certifications do you have?
I have a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Syracuse University and am a certified strength and conditioning specialist in the National Strength and Conditioning Association. If I wanted to train a Division 1 college football team, the NCAA would require me to have this. If you’d like to learn more about my time serving the Marines or as a Division I wide receiver at Syracuse University, where I gained a B.S. in Health, check out my story.
Are the workouts customizable to my fitness level or any injuries I have?
Every individual session is tailored to your level of expertise and physical capabilities, based on my initial assessment and a customized movement restoration strategy designed for your body.
Group classes are based on the capability levels of their participants. All exercises can be modified so everyone can participate safely and have fun.

How long are the sessions or classes?
Individual sessions typically last 45 minutes but may run longer if needed to address your specific needs. In addition to that, each session also includes a comprehensive summary, which can take an additional 15 minutes or more, depending on your situation.
Burst classes are 10 minutes, HIIT classes are 20 minutes, and Strength & Conditioning classes are 1 hour for men and 1.5 hours for women.

What’s the difference between your beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes?
Beginner: BURST classes are shorter and have less metabolic demand while still using the same exercises featured in the 20-minute HIIT classes.
Intermediate: HIIT classes are 20 minutes long and focus on fundamental human movements combined with challenging work-to-rest ratios.
Advanced: Men’s and Women’s Strength & Conditioning classes are tailored to prepare participants for powerlifting competitions or demanding sports seasons. They are designed to push you to your limits – and beyond – to help you achieve your full potential.
How often should I train to achieve my fitness goals?
The number of sessions needed depends on your goals. Some issues may be addressed in a single movement restoration session, while others require ongoing work. For building stamina, attending classes at least twice a week is recommended to see significant progress. Individual sessions may involve a program spanning 3 to 5 months.
How do you track progress and ensure I’m meeting my goals?
If you’re comfortable, I can track your body weight and waist-to-hip ratio. I track the weights you’re lifting so that you can see your progress.
